Michelle & Rob | Wedding in Toronto’s Distillery District

Michelle and Rob got married amongst family and friends in a beautiful ceremony at one of Toronto’s oldest churches. The sun wasn’t shining outside, but that didn’t matter, Michelle and Rob were on cloud nine and I don’t even think they noticed! I caught up with the beautiful bride and her team before the ceremony. Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

I love the reactions of Michelle’s dad and brother when they first saw her in her wedding gown. So special.

Michelle’s mom spent hours moving the lace from her wedding dress onto the trim of Michelle’s veil to make this one-of-a-kind gorgeous cathedral length veil. What a lovely idea for your “something old”. Look at these amazing flowers! The colours are so rich. I absolutely adore Rob’s boutonniere. Quince Flowers hit the ball out of the park on this one. Before we met the guests at Archeo for the reception we wandered around the Distillery District for some pictures. Michelle and Rob couldn’t stop smiling at each other. Rob described it perfectly when he said that he felt “ten feet tall”! Archeo looked extraordinary. The staff there are superb and the food was divine. When the guests left the church they were given a scavenger hunt to complete. Here are some of their reactions as the answers were read out.

Michelle and Rob, thank you so much for having me along on your very special day. Much love, Jennifer.

I love the photo me through her elbow as I’m doing up Michelle’s Gown. I had no idea you were taking pictures of me, I just assumed it was all Michelle, it was such a special moment for me that you captured. It was a great day and it felt like you were part of it, not just some stranger. That is all credit to your professionalism. Great shots!
