Last month, I met up with Darrelle and Rich on Darrelle’s family farm just outside of Toronto. The landscape of this place is so beautiful. As soon as I arrived, I saw why they wanted to do their pictures here! They are both city people now, but Darrelle grew up here. Rich on the contrary, grew up in the city. Darrelle’s family gave him a pair of gumboots once, as a sort of “welcome to the family” gift. I, too, am a city person but grew up riding horses and love getting out of the city to breathe in the country air. We had a lot of fun exploring the farm, all the while being watched by the the horses and cats. You can spot them supervising the session in a number of the photos.
