There are many things I love about my job. One of my favourite parts is getting to go new places and meet new people. Sometimes you don’t even have to go too far. Katie & David’s Atlantis wedding was the perfect combination of rustic charm and big city glamour. We started the day at Katie’s family farmhouse where she grew up. The house has incredible character, complete with a spiral staircase. I kind of have a thing for spiral staircases. I once almost let the presence of one cloud my judgement in a real estate decision, but that is another story. Anyways, suffice to say, I dig spherical stairwells. I also love texture. I love how Katie’s flawless elegance looks against the seasoned beauty of this house. I just plain love this house! After the prep was done we headed to downtown Toronto for the ceremony and reception at the Atlantis Pavilion.
