When Kay first contacted me about the possibility of shooting her Pender Island wedding I was ecstatic. Growing up in Vancouver, I spent many summers on B.C.’s Gulf Islands. Galiano and Pender have always been two of my favourites. I love the pace of island life and the scenery is breathtaking. Kay & Jesse live in Vancouver and were planning an at home destination wedding. A mini getaway for them and their guests.
Kay is one of the most detail oriented brides I have ever worked with. She planned every thoughtful detail and the wedding came together beautifully. Here are my images from last August when I traveled to picturesque Pender for their Poets Cove wedding.
Kay has a licence to drive a bus so she drove us around the island for pictures. 
She also handmade all the ladies’ dresses. Is there anything she can’t do? 🙂
