I am so excited about this post. I have had it ready for about a week now but I have been waiting for Molly and Mike to make it to a computer, a computer nestled way up in the Andes in Peru!
Molly and Mike met on a dark and stormy night at Toastmasters, an organization for improving and practicing your public speaking skills, Mike offered Molly a ride home and the rest was history. I’m sure neither of them realized just how much public speaking could change their lives. Fast forward to a beautiful day in July. The ceremony was held at Ottawa’s Rockcliffe Park with the reception in Wakefield, Quebec. Before heading to the park I met up with Molly at her parent’s house where I found this lovely tree to hang her dress from 🙂
The details at this wedding were gorgeous! I adore the welcome chalkboard and the puppets on each table. The reception was held at Le Hibou in Wakefield, Quebec. As you can see below it is an extremely picturesque location right on the Gatineau River.
An old steam train with a friendly conductor passed right in front of the restaurant during cocktails. Look, I even have fun at weddings! I’m also a huge dork 😉
I love the reactions in these next two. Mike’s brother and sister-in-law put together a fantastic slide show of Mike and Molly lives so far. Thank you for including me in such a special day! I feel truly honored. Enjoy the rest of your time in Peru! xo
