A couple of weeks back, I traveled to Tofino, B.C. on the West Coast of Vancouver Island for Jackie & Warren’s wedding. On the way, I made a quick stop in Vancouver to say hi to my folks and scoop up my dear friend and photographer Fran Chelico. The morning of their wedding, Jackie & Warren and about 30 of their friends met at Cox Bay Beach for a little surfing. Fran and I went along to catch some of the action.

Me doing what I do. Yes, I’m wearing yoga pants and no, I will not show up to your wedding in yoga pants. I had greatly overestimated the temperature when I packed for this trip and only had one pair of pants with me. I knew I was going to get wet while shooting the surfing session so I sacrificed my yoga pants in order to save my pants for later.
The surfing was just the beginning. So much more wedding day fun to follow. Stay tuned!
